A former employee of a Chick-fil-A location in Texas has been arrested after authorities say he carried out a scheme that cost the restaurant about $80,000.
Police allege that Keyshun Jones, who had been fired from the Grapevine store near Dallas last November, repeatedly returned to the restaurant and accessed the register. Investigators say he entered food orders and then issued refunds to his own credit card. According to reports, he processed roughly 800 orders of macaroni and cheese as part of the scheme.

The investigation began after the restaurant flagged an unusually high number of suspicious refunds. Prosecutors say security footage captured Jones behind the counter conducting the transactions. An arrest warrant was issued on April 6.
Jones was taken into custody on April 17 by the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Task Force along with the Fort Worth Police Department.

He now faces charges including property theft, money laundering, and evading arrest. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in state prison.
