Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene unleashed a heated, profanity-filled tirade on social media Wednesday, taking aim at Republican men as she defended her decision to step down from Congress. The outburst followed a Tuesday post in which the Georgia Republican described X as a “toxic, hateful, and divisive” platform. That message drew a brief reply from right-wing commentator Mike Cernovich, who told her: “You need to serve out your full term.”
Greene, who has previously spoken about receiving threats and enduring personal attacks, fired back sharply. “Do I have to stay until I’m assassinated like our friend Charlie Kirk? Will that be good enough for you?” she wrote.
Saying she had endured more than enough political combat, Greene accused Cernovich of criticizing from the sidelines, according to the Independent. “Posting online all day isn’t fighting,” she said. “Get off your a– and run for Congress. Put down your little pebbles and put your money where your mouth is.”

An hour later, Greene escalated her criticism. Sharing a screenshot of her earlier comments, she charged that “Republican men” were guilty of sexism and complacency.
“Typical of Republican men telling a woman to ‘shut up, get back in the kitchen, and fix me something to eat,’” she wrote. “F— you, in the sweetest Southern drawl I can manage. Get off your a– and make your own food — and clean up the kitchen when you’re finished.”
Greene closed by condemning the way political leaders, particularly men, “keep participating in a two-party toxic political system that behaves like college football playoffs while burying you, your children, and future generations in a pine box in a shallow grave.”
