Woman says she was tossed from mechanical genitals ride in Las Vegas bar and hurt
🍺😏so……
A woman who says she was injured after being thrown from a mechanical penis ride at a Las Vegas bar is suing the establishment.
Amber Zabran of Illinois filed a lawsuit last week in Clark County, Nevada, alleging she was injured while riding the attraction at The Nerd, a bar located inside Neonopolis on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, according to KLAS.
Zabran claims she was thrown from the ride, causing her foot or ankle to become trapped beneath a large cutout section of the attraction.
The Nerd frequently promotes the unusual ride on its website and social media. Designed to resemble male genitalia, the attraction operates similarly to a mechanical bull, with riders attempting to stay on as the machine moves and becomes increasingly difficult to ride.
“Ride it, slide it, stay on top of the World Famous Gyrating Johnson Mechanical Member Bull ride exclusively at The Nerd. Can you hang on?” the bar’s website states.
According to KLAS, Zabran said she was at the bar with friends and was not asked to sign a waiver before riding. She also alleges that staff increased the difficulty of the ride as it continued.
Zabran claims she suffered significant physical and emotional trauma when she was thrown from the attraction. The lawsuit describes “great pain of body and mind,” including serious physical injuries, shock, and damage to her nervous system that resulted in mental stress, anxiety and anguish.
The report said some of her injuries could be permanent, although it did not provide additional details about the specific nature or extent of those injuries.
Zabran is seeking compensation for various expenses, including medical costs. According to KLAS, the total amount she is seeking exceeds $15,000, although the lawsuit does not specify an exact figure.
