A Minnesota Wendy’s customer allegedly threatened to call ICE on Hispanic workers, then she said ‘I’m black I can’t be racist’
The Nerd Stash reports that a Wendy’s worker in Minnesota said a customer threatened to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement on him and his coworkers during an argument outside the restaurant. He said the workers involved were Hispanic. He reportedly posted a video of the encounter on TikTok, which currently appears to be unavailable, and said he had been taking orders and moving on to the next customer when the dispute began.
The employee said, according to The Nerd Stash’s retelling of events, the woman became upset while placing an order at the drive-thru. He claimed that during the argument she threatened to call ICE on the staff. He said he pulled out his phone and started recording after that alleged threat.
In the clip, the woman sat behind the wheel of her vehicle. The employee said three of her young children were seated in the back. The video begins with her yelling, “You’re racist,” before she adds, “I’m black; I can’t be racist.”

Right after that remark, the woman reached through the open window and tried to knock the phone out of the employee’s hand, but missed, according to the clip described by the worker. As she started to drive away, the employee began to taunt her. That appeared to change her mind about leaving.
The woman stopped her vehicle, got out, and started marching toward the employee. He immediately went back inside the restaurant and closed the doors behind him. She then taunted him, calling him scared, before walking away.
The confrontation did not end there, the employee said. He claimed the woman later entered the restaurant and knocked the straws onto the floor.
Viewers commenting on the video criticized the woman’s behavior. Some of those remarks also turned into broader statements about race. One person wrote, “The fatigue just keeps fatiguing.” Another commented, “Violent and racist just another normal day reinforcing the stereotype.” A third wrote, “They need to boycott the public.”
Several commenters rejected the idea that a person’s race would make racism impossible.
