U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday released a photo showing a man accused of threatening federal agents being taken into custody by a Homeland Security Investigations officer.
ICE emphasized that making threats against federal officers is a serious crime, stating that threatening to assault, kill, or interfere with a federal agent constitutes a felony.

The agency identified the suspect as Logan Murfin of Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to ICE, Murfin faces ten criminal charges after allegedly posting statements on social media calling for federal agents to be shot, gunned down, and executed.

ICE shared the image on social media, which shows Murfin being detained by a federal officer. A holiday decoration reading “Season’s Greetings” is visible in the background.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma announced Thursday that Murfin has been charged with five counts of threatening to assault and murder federal law enforcement officers with the intent to impede, intimidate, interfere with, and retaliate against them, as well as five counts of interstate communication containing a threat to injure.

According to court documents, prosecutors allege Murfin knowingly posted multiple threatening and intimidating messages online advocating violence against federal agents. Authorities say he encouraged others to remain armed and to kill agents when encountered, claiming the agents did not deserve to live.
