HORROR: Monster with Dozens of Prior Arrests Punches Elderly Man, Shoves Him onto Train Tracks in Chicago

A Chicago-area man with an extensive criminal history dating back to 2001 has been charged after allegedly attacking an elderly commuter and knocking him onto the train tracks Monday morning.

According to authorities, 39-year-old Tommie Carter was arrested and charged with attempted murder following the incident at the CTA Blue Line’s Harlem Avenue station in Forest Park, Illinois.

Police responding around 8:30 a.m. found the injured senior citizen lying on the tracks. A Blue Line train operator had seen the man and managed to stop in time, preventing a potentially fatal impact and keeping the victim from contacting the electrified third rail. The victim was transported to Loyola University Medical Center for treatment.

Officers located a suspect matching the description provided by witnesses a short time later. During the arrest, Carter allegedly spat on officers, leading to three additional felony counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, according to CBS News.

Last month, another violent attack occurred on the Blue Line when 50-year-old Lawrence Reed was accused of dousing a 26-year-old woman with a flammable liquid and setting her on fire. Reed, who has dozens of prior arrests, was charged under federal terrorism statutes after allegedly shouting “Burn, b*tch!” as the victim tried to extinguish the flames. Bystanders eventually intervened and helped put out the fire. The woman was hospitalized with severe injuries.
