Hunter Biden sharply criticized President Trump, Charlie Kirk, and journalist Miranda Devine during an appearance on the “Wide Awake Podcast” earlier this month, launching into several heated exchanges over their commentary about him and his family.
In a profanity-filled moment, Hunter Biden expressed anger over the way President Trump speaks about Joe Biden, saying Trump is “obsessed” with his father’s election victory. He argued that Joe Biden defeated Trump decisively in 2020, winning by more than seven million votes.
“That’s why he hates my dad, because he beat him,” Hunter said, adding that Trump and his allies are attempting to “rewrite history” through accusations such as the “Biden crime family” narrative, which he dismissed as a “joke.”
Hunter Biden also sharply criticized Miranda Devine of the New York Post, who extensively covered reporting on his laptop prior to the 2020 election. He attacked both her work and her character, also taking aim at the Daily Mail and accusing certain media outlets of pursuing stories purely for financial gain.
“There’s no ethics in what someone like Miranda Devine does,” he said, adding that he believes few people will mourn her passing due to what he described as harmful and sensationalist reporting.
