Outraged Woman Kicked Out and Has Her Gold’s Gym Membership Terminated After Complaining About a Biological Man in the Women’s Locker Room
Music artist Tish Hyman reacts after being kicked out of a Los Angeles Gold’s Gym for protesting a biological man’s presence in the women’s locker room.
Recording artist Tish Hyman says she was expelled from a Gold’s Gym facility after confronting a biological male who entered the women’s locker room while she was undressed — an encounter she describes as deeply violating and emblematic of how women’s safety is being undermined by radical gender policies.

Hyman, who identifies as a lesbian and outspoken advocate for women’s spaces, shared her account in a series of emotional videos and posts on social media. She described being naked and vulnerable when she suddenly noticed a man — dressed in “boy clothes” and wearing lip gloss — standing in the women’s locker room, watching her.
“This person told me he was a woman and demanded that I leave,” Hyman wrote. “He said, ‘Straight women like dick, and they’re probably looking at me more than you.’ I was naked, scared, and being yelled at. A young woman nearby froze up, completely traumatized.”
According to Hyman, Gold’s Gym staff told her their hands were tied by law and that they could not remove the man. Police eventually arrived and escorted him out, but the gym terminated Hyman’s membership shortly afterward.
“They had me escorted out by officers right after,” she said. “It was embarrassing. I left, but not before making sure everyone knew they were allowing men into the women’s locker room.”
A video recorded by another gym-goer shows Hyman speaking out to fellow members before being removed.

Today he saw me walk into the women’s room followed me in and called me a bitch. I ran out into the locker room crying and screaming. This is why we can’t be quiet because people need to know what’s happening. Thank you to the men who helped me today. pic.twitter.com/TlpCNCF8SW

“Grown men with no business in the women’s locker room — and that’s why I’m getting kicked out!” she said. “Everybody saw what happened, and no one’s saying anything. I’m done with it. I’m terminated for not wanting men in the locker room.”
In a follow-up video, Hyman expressed heartbreak over what she called the erasure of women’s rights and safety, saying the issue extends far beyond one gym.
“This is happening at gyms across America,” she said. “How can you say you want to be a woman and not care how women feel? There’s nothing more manly than ignoring women’s feelings.”
“I’ve been told speaking out could hurt my music career,” she added, “but I’m a woman before an artist — and I’m going to stand for what’s right.”
Hyman emphasized that she is not motivated by hate, describing herself as a lifelong member of the LGBTQ community who simply believes women deserve privacy and protection in spaces designated for them.
If we saw boldness like this back in 2020, this insanity would’ve never been allowed to fester like it has.

“I’m not transphobic or hateful,” she said. “I just believe in fairness. Why can’t there be separate spaces — women’s, men’s, and trans — so everyone can feel safe?”
Hyman’s story has sparked a wave of debate online, with many expressing outrage at Gold’s Gym’s response and others calling for policy changes to protect women’s spaces. She has since urged supporters to sign a petition linked in her profile and continue speaking out.
“This is wrong and dangerous,” Hyman said. “Any man can claim to be a woman and walk into our spaces — and that must stop. Women deserve safety. We deserve protection.”
