Oklahoma Governor Announces 130 Illegal Alien Truck Drivers Arrested in Sting, One CDL Read “No Name Given”

The roads in Oklahoma just became safer after a sweeping law enforcement operation led to the arrest of 130 illegal immigrant truck drivers.
Governor Kevin Stitt announced Monday that the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, working alongside U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), carried out “Operation Guardian” along Interstate 40 in western Oklahoma. The coordinated sting targeted illegal commercial drivers operating with questionable licenses.
According to Stitt, many of the arrested drivers carried licenses issued by sanctuary states, despite being in the country illegally. The individuals came from multiple nations, including India, Uzbekistan, China, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Mauritania. In one case, a commercial driver’s license (CDL) was marked simply with the words “No Name Given” where the driver’s name should have been.

“If New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with ‘No Name Given,’ that’s on them. The moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws,” Stitt said. “I want to thank our troopers and ICE officials for their hard work. This is about keeping Oklahomans safe.”
Brian Bingman of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission also backed the crackdown, stressing the public safety concerns. “The inability to read road signs written in English will lead to accidents,” Bingman said. “This negligence creates risk for Oklahoma’s drivers.”
The arrests come as the Trump administration intensifies its efforts to stop illegal immigrants from obtaining commercial driver’s licenses.
Earlier this year, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered a freeze on trucker employment visas. That decision followed a deadly crash involving a 28-year-old Indian national who had allegedly entered the country illegally and caused a fatal collision after making an illegal U-turn.
