Privileged upbringing of liberal college student who mocked Charlie Kirk’s death

She introduced herself as ‘pamper baby’ before sharing her poem about Charlie Kirk and confidently told a seemingly unamused Collins: ‘You’re brave for being out here, I mean, no protection, no nothing, no, like, neck brace’

The college student who said she was ‘thrilled’ to mock Charlie Kirk‘s death before calling another conservative activist ‘brave’ for not protecting his neck attended a $30,000-a-year all-girls prep school and is the daughter of a Brazilian woman, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Isabela Casahuga Lemgruber, 19, appeared to threaten political commentator Christian Collins during an event Collins hosted at her school, the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), last month, according to records reviewed by The Dallas Express.

Lemgruber, a former debate team member at St. Agnes Academy in Houston, shared a handwritten poem that mimicked ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas‘ while detailing Kirk’s death, according to a video Collins shared on Wednesday.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck in September 2025 while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University. His death, which was filmed in real time, has been followed by hateful rhetoric ever since.

Collins posted another video on Thursday identifying Isabela and stating that she viewed his Instagram story after he posted the clip of her.

Before she started at the university, her former high school shared an announcement in a since-deleted social media post that congratulated her. The school also shared that she’s a freshman studying international relations and diplomacy at UTSA.

It costs $28,400 a year to go to the Roman Catholic institution, according to the school’s website.

Isabela is the daughter of Houston-based realtor Paula Casahuga, who was born in Brazil, the Daily Mail has uncovered. The student also proudly shared that she is an immigrant at the mic.

Paula works as an ‘experienced licensed real estate agent’ for Nino Properties, according to her LinkedIn. Her name is no longer listed on the company’s website, and the Daily Mail attempted to contact Nino Properties several times.

Before her professional profile was taken down on the site, it was shared on social media after the clip of Isabela hit the internet.

According to her biography, Paula ‘was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is married to a Spaniard and has two beautiful daughters who are citizens of the world.’

Over the past two decades, the family has moved to more than nine cities across five countries and settled in Houston five years ago, the description read.

Paula’s LinkedIn also stated that she worked for several companies in Brazil before relocating to the US. The page was deactivated on Thursday afternoon.

Isabela’s father, Guillem Casahuga, is a partner at Arthur Little – an international management consulting firm, according to the company’s website.

Guillem studied engineering and telecommunications in Spain and also obtained his master’s in business administration there, his profile read.

His LinkedIn page has been deactivated as well. The Daily Mail contacted Arthur Little for comment.

The Daily Mail attempted to reach both of them several times.

When approached for comment about Isabela’s statements on campus, a spokesperson with UTSA told the Daily Mail the school ‘is aware of the social media content involving one of our students and takes the matter seriously.’

‘The sentiments expressed do not reflect the values of our university. The university is reviewing the circumstances through its established student conduct processes, consistent with applicable state and federal law and university policies.

‘In accordance with federal student privacy protections, including FERPA, we are unable to comment further on the individual student or any specific disciplinary action,’ they concluded.

UT System Board of Regents Chairman Kevin Eltife and UT System Chancellor John Zerwas also condemned the incident.

‘We have been apprised of the incident at UT San Antonio. Let us be clear — we will not tolerate the incitement of violence or the threat of incitement of violence by any member of our UT community. UT San Antonio will handle this incident consistent with the law,’ they said in a joint statement.

Isabela, with long hair and glasses, gripped a large Starbucks cup and approached the microphone during Collins’ event, ‘Prove Me Wrong/ Pick Up the Mic’ on September 23.

She introduced herself as ‘pamper baby’ before sharing her poem and confidently told a seemingly unamused Collins: ‘You’re brave for being out here, I mean, no protection, no nothing, no, like, neck brace.’

Following her apparent threat on his life, Collins calmly told the woman: ‘I’ll pray for you.’

But before she did that, Isabela made a bizarre introduction to Collins and other attendees.

‘So, I took a plan B, and I’m an immigrant this morn – like, feeling kind of guilty, so I wanted to read a poem that I actually wrote,’ she started.

Isabela then shared her version of the iconic Christmas poem.

‘Twas the night before the Kirkaversary, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

‘The flags were hung proudly, the memes all on deck as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck,’ she said while looking up from her phone.

A small group of people cheered as Collins sat back in his chair with a straight face.

‘The podcast fell silent, the hot takes grew weary, for tomorrow, dear friends, is the great Kirkaversary,’ she said as her poem ended.

But the woman wasn’t done just yet, as she looked out to the crowd and said: ‘So I’ll see everyone at the squirt for Kirk, we’re hosting that, also on October 10th. I’ll see y’all there.

‘It’s a BYOE, you know, vaccines included. S***’s free, see y’all there. That’s all,’ she said as she turned toward Collins and smiled.

‘Are you happy with yourself now?’ he asked her.

‘Baby, I’m thrilled,’ she responded before carrying on with her neck brace line.
