Crock-Pot Cube Steak
Ingredients

2 lb. cube steak (about 4 pieces)

2 tsp. kosher salt

1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

2 tsp. garlic powder

2 large yellow onion, sliced into 1/4″ rings

1 (2-oz.) packet onion soup mix

1 cup low-sodium beef broth

1/4 cup cold water

2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Buttered egg noodles, for serving
Directions
- Step 1 .Season steaks with salt and pepper. Add to slow cooker along with garlic powder, onion, onion soup mix, and beef broth.
- Step 2 .Set slow cooker to low for 8 hours.
- Step 3 .1 hour before you’re ready to serve, mix cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl and stir into slow cooker. Cook on high until gravy has thickened, stirring periodically.
- Step 4 .Serve over buttered egg noodles, and garnish with more pepper.
