President Donald Trump is reportedly frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following a failed Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar, according to a Wall Street Journal report published Thursday.

Sources familiar with the matter told the WSJ that Trump expressed anger after the operation did not succeed in eliminating top Hamas officials. “He’s f—ing me,” Trump reportedly said about Netanyahu, according to officials who overheard the remark.

Trump has privately voiced concerns that Netanyahu favors a military-first approach over diplomatic efforts when dealing with Hamas. Attempts to negotiate a hostage release and broader ceasefire have so far been unsuccessful, with Israel continuing its military operations in Gaza.

According to Axios, Trump spoke with Netanyahu twice following the Qatar strikes — first to express his dissatisfaction with the decision to carry them out, and later to discuss their limited impact. The strikes reportedly killed five Hamas members and one Qatari security officer but failed to take out key Hamas leaders.

There are conflicting accounts about when Trump was notified of the planned strikes. Israeli officials claim the former president was informed shortly before the operation, though it remains unclear whether he approved or opposed the plan in advance.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces have begun advancing into Gaza City, urging civilians to evacuate. Humanitarian groups warn that the displacement of nearly one million people could further exacerbate the crisis.

Trump has acknowledged that some within his MAGA-aligned base are growing uneasy with Israel’s ongoing military campaign, especially as the war in Gaza drags on and scrutiny of Israel’s tactics increases.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
