A man was arrested on multiple charges after allegedly urinating inside a movie theater during a Friday night showing of Demon Slayer in Surprise, Arizona.
According to police, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. at the AMC Surprise Pointe 14 theater on Litchfield Road. Witnesses reported that the suspect, identified as Limil Hull, stood up during the movie, unzipped his pants, and began urinating. Some of the urine reportedly splashed on a child seated nearby.
The incident quickly escalated when the child’s father and other moviegoers physically confronted Hull, with video circulating on social media showing him being beaten by several patrons.
Officers from the Surprise Police Department responded to the scene and took Hull into custody. He was booked on several charges, including indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, criminal damage, and refusing to provide a truthful name to authorities.
Despite the serious nature of the incident, Hull was released on his own recognizance following an initial court appearance.
A witness who recorded the event told Arizona’s Family that after the incident, AMC staff were responsive and offered all guests full refunds, free snacks, and the option to finish the film in a different auditorium.
Police have not commented on whether any charges will be filed in relation to the physical altercation that followed the alleged urination.
