Fox News anchor goes nuclear on sailors complaining about food aboard USS Abraham Lincoln

Fox Anchor Johnny Joey Jones became very angry and yelled live on the air about the sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

During the Fox News broadcast of The Big Weekend Show, Jones, 40, reported on the sailors complaining about food shortages aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, which has been out at sea for more than 260 consecutive days, nearly nine months.

The Fox News anchor then mentioned his military rank as a Staff Sergeant (E-6) in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He wished he had “tuna and noodles” while he was serving in Afghanistan for about six months.

He argued that the sailors were “just sitting in the water.” It comes after the wife of USS Lincoln sailor revealed the true conditons onboard and said her husband suffered the ‘worst deployment’ of his career.

Jones yelled at the top of his lungs, “You know what I ate in Afghanistan for six months? With just a little burner? I ate ramen noodles! That’s what I ate!

“I was happy with what I ate because the alternative was an MRE or something cooked by the Afghan guy who was too stupid to be given a gun, and they let him be the cook!

He vented, “How weak are you? On TV! Complaining about tuna and noodles! I’m sorry! You volunteered to serve your country! I’m sorry, but you’re a sitting duck on a patrol base in Afghanistan more than you are on a navy ship sitting in the water!”

“But to sit there and say that it was terrible because you had a corn dog and a hot dog! I would’ve traded a block of C4 from the Taliban for a hot dog back in July 2010!” he closed.

The Lincoln had left its home port of San Diego on November 21, 2025, and was later redirected to the Middle East to support operations with the war in Iran, which has now entered its sixth month.

It has been deployed for more than 260 consecutive days, nearly nine months.

Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal released a statement, which read, “Shortages of basic supplies, water contamination, plumbing issues, deteriorating mental health, deck safety concerns, and mail disruptions that left care packages lost in transit for months.

While speaking to reporters on August 14 before boarding Air Force One, President Donald Trump, 80, dismissed the reports about the conditions aboard the ship.

“Well, no, that ship is moving. No, they’re not,” said Trump. “That ship is moving right now, or very shortly, and it’s being replaced with another, very similar ship.”

When asked if the deployment had gone on too long, the president replied, “Not nearly long enough.” Meanwhile, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth sparked fury with his comments about the USS Lincoln.
