A federal financial disclosure filed last year by former Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem indicates that she and her husband, Bryon Noem, carried significant debt in the years leading up to recent allegations about his spending.

The filing lists between $2.6 million and $3.25 million in liabilities dating back to 2020. According to the disclosure, five of the six loans were tied to Bryon Noem’s business interests in car washes and insurance. One additional loan, a mortgage valued between $100,001 and $250,000, was listed as jointly held.

The financial records were reported alongside separate media allegations concerning Bryon Noem’s personal spending. Those reports claim he spent substantial sums on online adult content creators and related platforms. The claims were first reported by outlets including the Daily Mail and the Times of London.

One woman, Nicole Raccagno, told reporters she received payments and gifts over an extended period, including a monthly arrangement and other financial support. Another individual, Lydia Love, told the Times of London she had interacted with Bryon Noem in online communications over multiple occasions.

Bryon Noem, Bryon Noem, has not publicly addressed the allegations in detail. Kristi Noem said her family was caught off guard by the reports.
