A confrontation between a man and a woman at a car wash in Philadelphia ended in a crash and a vehicle fire, according to authorities.

Police say 27-year-old Imani Walker is facing multiple charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, accident involving personal injury, criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and reckless endangerment. Court records indicate she posted $75,000 bail.

The incident happened Wednesday at a car wash on North Broad Street. Moctar Elias, 42, said he was working when Walker, who he had previously dated for about five years, arrived at the location driving a Volkswagen Jetta and confronted him.

Security footage reviewed by a local television station shows the two speaking before the argument escalated. In the video, Walker appears to knock a coffee cup out of Elias’ hand. The situation quickly turns physical, with both individuals striking each other and eventually falling to the ground while nearby people move toward them to see what is happening.

The footage then shows Walker getting back into her car and pulling up near Elias’ vehicle. She is seen using a hammer to damage the car. Elias runs toward her, takes the hammer, and swings it at her vehicle as she backs away.

Authorities say that after creating some distance, Walker accelerated and drove toward Elias, striking him and crashing into a nearby wall. The impact shattered the windshield and pushed both Elias and the car forward. A coworker is seen pulling Elias away from the vehicle while another person tries to restrain Walker before she leaves the scene.

Shortly after the crash, the vehicle caught fire and smoke could be seen rising from it.

Elias was taken to a hospital where he was treated for injuries to his neck and leg. Walker was arrested several days later.

Elias told reporters that nothing like this had happened before during his relationship with Walker. He said the two had broken up and suggested she might be dealing with personal issues.

Walker is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on April 24.
