You are selected for a one-time, global experiment called “The Quiet Fortune Project.”
If you accept, you will be paid $5,000,000 USD after successfully completing 12 months living alone in a remote, fully controlled environment.
But there’s a catch…
Your Location:
You are dropped onto a large, isolated coastal plateau on a remote island. You cannot leave for 1 year.
The landscape includes:
- Rocky cliffs on one side and dense pine forest on the other
- A cold ocean shoreline with limited safe swimming areas
- Frequent windstorms and heavy rain seasons
Your Shelter:
You are given a small modern survival cabin:
- One-room insulated structure (weatherproof, sturdy, secure)
- Bed with bedding, basic heating system, and solar-powered lighting
- A stocked pantry of basic food staples (rice, beans, pasta, canned goods, spices)
- A clean water system that refills automatically from filtered rainwater
- Basic cooking stove (gas-powered, limited supply that is regularly refilled)
What you DO NOT get:
- No TV
- No computers
- No phones
- No internet access
- No visitors
- No contact with the outside world except a monthly health check via silent drone drop (no conversation)
What you ARE allowed:
- Books (a starter library is provided: 50 random titles)
- Art supplies (paper, pencils, paints)
- Gardening supplies to grow your own food supplement plot
- One musical instrument of your choice (pre-selected before arrival)
- Personal clothing for all seasons
Rules:
- You must stay on the island for the full year
- You cannot communicate with anyone outside
- You must remain mentally and physically healthy to qualify for payment
- Quitting early means leaving with nothing
