Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Salah Salem Sarsour, an illegal alien in Wisconsin who has been described as a Palestinian community leader, on charges of funding terrorist organizations and providing false information on immigration documents. Sarsour previously was convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli Armed Forces members.

ICE agents announced the arrest on Friday in Milwaukee. Sarsour, a Jordanian national, is suspected of illegally financing terrorist groups and falsifying information on immigration forms to gain entry to the United States.

Decades ago, Sarsour was denied an immigrant visa at the American consulate in Jerusalem after his conviction for attacking the homes of Israeli Armed Forces members with Molotov cocktails. He has also been convicted of attempting to possess weapons and ammunition illegally.

“Salah Salem Sarsour is a terrorist convicted for throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli armed forces,” said Lauren Bis of the Department of Homeland Security. “This illegal alien from Jordan lied on his green card application to gain legal status in the U.S. Thanks to President Trump and ICE, this terrorist is no longer in American communities. This administration will always prioritize the safety of the American people.”

Sarsour legally entered the United States in 1993 as a conditional resident and later obtained a green card in 1998 after allegedly providing false information. Sources indicate that he owns three furniture stores in Wisconsin but owes more than $26,000 in property taxes on his Franklin residence, valued at over $1 million.
