BREAKING: Democrat Pima County Sheriff is Blocking FBI Access to Key Evidence After DNA and Glove Found Inside Nancy Guthrie Home
According to reports from Fox News and Reuters, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has expressed concerns about how evidence is being handled in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
Fox News reported that DNA evidence and a glove were recently found inside Guthrie’s home. According to that report, the FBI requested that the items be sent to its laboratory in Quantico, Virginia for analysis. However, Chris Nanos, the Pima County Sheriff, instead directed that the evidence be sent to a private laboratory in Florida for testing.

Fox News quoted sources describing frustration over the disagreement, noting that the Guthrie family hopes the focus will remain on finding Nancy rather than on jurisdictional disputes between agencies.
Separately, the FBI released an updated physical description of the suspect seen in porch surveillance footage connected to the case. Following forensic analysis of the video, the suspect is described as a male approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build. In the footage, he is seen wearing a black 25-liter Ozark Trail “Hiker Pack” backpack.
