“One of the Many Scammers” – Trump SLAMS Ilhan Omar, Calls Somalia “The Worst, and Most Corrupt, Country on Earth” – “Did She Really Marry her Brother? Send Them Back from Where They Came”

President Trump on Wednesday sharply criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, accusing her and others of being connected to what he described as widespread fraud involving government programs in the state.

Speaking publicly, the President claimed that a large share of fraud cases in Minnesota stem from individuals who entered the United States illegally from Somalia. He singled out Rep. Omar, accusing her of failing to contribute positively and alleging that she was connected to what he characterized as fraudulent activity. The President also repeated unproven personal allegations about Omar that she has previously denied.

Trump further called for stricter immigration enforcement, including the removal of individuals he said entered the country unlawfully. He argued that such individuals pose a risk to the nation’s economic and institutional integrity.

The comments followed reports highlighting alleged misuse of public funds within Minnesota’s nonprofit sector, particularly organizations serving the Somali community. Independent journalist Nick Shirley has reported that hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds may have been misappropriated through welfare and child care programs. Authorities have not confirmed figures cited by the President, though investigations into nonprofit fraud in the state are ongoing.

Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the administration is considering the use of denaturalization in certain cases. She said the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State are reviewing legal options related to immigration enforcement.

Earlier this month, President Trump also questioned Rep. Omar’s eligibility to serve in Congress and called for her deportation while discussing what he described as billions of dollars lost to fraud in Minnesota. Rep. Omar has previously rejected similar accusations and has not been charged with any crimes.
