An accident involving multiple vehicles in Columbus, Ohio, over the weekend has drawn attention online after one of the drivers shared her account on social media.
On Saturday, a Columbus woman posted a TikTok video describing what she said was a serious crash caused by another vehicle driving recklessly. According to the woman, the other car struck her vehicle directly, resulting in significant damage.

She said the occupants of the other vehicle disputed her account and told police that she was responsible for the crash, claiming she had backed into them. Police officers at the scene reportedly did not accept that explanation.
In the video, the woman said officers placed her in the back of a police cruiser for her safety, explaining that tensions at the scene were high and that it would not be safe for her to exchange information directly with the other parties.
The woman also stated that the other individuals told police they were from Somalia and claimed they did not have insurance, saying they planned to return to their home country. She expressed skepticism about those claims in her video.
At a later point, the TikTok user said Columbus police allowed the other individuals to leave the scene without issuing a citation.
Columbus is home to one of the largest Somali communities in the United States, with an estimated population of about 60,000, second only to Minneapolis. The incident has sparked online debate about how traffic accidents are handled and whether enforcement is applied consistently in similar situations.
