Nurse Films Herself Berating Elderly Target Worker callin him “F—ing Stupid” Over Charlie Kirk Shirt

A woman from Orland, California, posted a TikTok video showing her confronting an elderly Target employee over a Charlie Kirk “Freedom” T-shirt the worker was wearing while stocking baby clothes.

The woman, identified through her public Facebook profile as Michelea Ponce, is listed as a nurse employed by Enloe Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in Chico, California, where she has worked in patient care roles.

In the video posted Monday, Ponce approaches the older Target employee and repeatedly questions her about the shirt. When the employee asks why she is being filmed, Ponce continues pressing her about the clothing choice. The Target worker responds that she is permitted to wear any red shirt as part of the store’s dress code.

During the exchange, Ponce insults the employee and accuses her of supporting racism, while the worker calmly denies the accusation and states that Charlie Kirk is not racist. Ponce then asks to speak with a manager, calling the shirt “unacceptable.”

Throughout the encounter, the Target employee remains composed and eventually ends the interaction by wishing Ponce a nice day before walking away.

Ponce, who uses the TikTok handle @motherofballers, had approximately 19,600 followers and more than 1.1 million likes on the platform at the time the video circulated.

In a separate TikTok video, Ponce criticizes her mother for wanting to purchase a Bible for her teenage son, making comments about his living situation. Details regarding those remarks remain unclear, as Ponce has also publicly posted about being married to a Mexican man.

The videos sparked widespread backlash online, with critics accusing Ponce of harassment and bullying. Some users have called for Enloe Health to take disciplinary action and for Target to bar her from its stores.

Enloe Health has not issued a public statement regarding the situation. Media outlets have reached out to the organization for comment.

UPDATE: Shortly after reports about the incident were published, Ponce deactivated or made private all of her social media accounts.
