Two grinches reportedly punch Nativity scene donkeys, defecate in church during Christmas market spree

Chaos struck a Christmas market in Germany last month when two vandals went on a destructive spree, attacking animals, defacing property, and causing widespread mayhem.

On November 30, the unidentified perpetrators reportedly punched two donkeys, Max and Lily, who were part of a living Nativity scene at the Erbach Castle Christmas market, according to Hit Radio FFH. A witness told Merkur that the donkeys were struck as they approached the vandals, who were then chased away. Max and Lily were returned to their farm to recover.

The same individuals are also suspected of defecating inside a Protestant church in the city center, Hit Radio FFH reported. In addition, the vandals damaged decorations, stole items, tampered with an electrical box, and vandalized public restrooms at the market.
