Texas DPS Arrest Human Smuggler Carrying 10 Illegals Locked in a Van After High-Speed Chase (VIDEO)
Since President Trump resumed office in January and moved quickly to secure the border, illegal crossings have dropped sharply.
The previous four years under the Biden administration produced widespread chaos at the border, with an estimated 15 million illegal immigrants entering the United States during that time.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), have worked relentlessly to combat human smuggling operations and apprehend illegal aliens, turning them over to U.S. Border Patrol when captured.

In late November, DPS troopers engaged in a high-speed pursuit in Webb County involving a human smuggler driving a van with 10 illegal immigrants locked inside. The suspect, Juan Antonio Aleman of Laredo, attempted to evade arrest by recklessly speeding through city streets before eventually stopping and being taken into custody. Aleman admitted he was to be paid $2,000 for the smuggling operation. The 10 illegal immigrants were transferred to Border Patrol custody.
Aleman was charged with 10 counts of human smuggling and evading arrest. In a separate incident reported last week, DPS pursued another human smuggler whose vehicle collided with a commercial truck. No serious injuries were reported. The driver and an accomplice were arrested, and the illegal immigrants involved were again handed over to Border Patrol.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution grants the federal government both the authority and the responsibility to protect the states from invasion:
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”
Under President Trump, the rule of law has been restored.
