WATCH: Cop who smashed in ex’s door ‘f–king snapped,’ threatened to ‘burn your house down next’: video

A New Jersey police officer who smashed her ex-boyfriend’s front door with a baton can be seen in newly released video admitting she “f–king snapped” and threatening officers, saying she would “burn your house down next.”

Rebecca Sayegh, 32, a former Toms River police officer, was permanently banned from law enforcement following the jealous attack. The bodycam footage from April captures her lashing out at officers with a profanity-laden tirade.

“I just f–king snapped,” Sayegh says during a phone conversation, according to the footage. “He wants to sit here and have some random f–king bitch in here with all my belongings,” she added, referring to her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.

“[He’s] saying she’s gonna move in and shit — get the f–k out of here,” she continued, clearly agitated.

When police ordered her to come with them, Sayegh refused, shouting, “No, we’re gonna go when I get all my s–t … Give me a second! I’m calling my PBA officer,” referencing her Police Benevolent Association union representative.

Officers restrained her after she resisted, prompting her to scream, “What the f–k are you doing?” As they escorted her down the driveway, she yelled, “I’m gonna f–king burn your house down next, you piece of s–t!” Police said she was threatening her former boyfriend’s home.

Before being placed in a police vehicle, Sayegh can be heard saying, “At least my hair’s nice today,” seemingly aware her actions would soon be public.

Sayegh pleaded guilty to the rampage, which occurred around 11:20 p.m. on April 25. She reportedly confronted her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend, shoving both after breaking down the front door. Sayegh had lived in the home with her ex for five years.

On Nov. 17, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced she “forfeited all future public employment in the State of New Jersey.”
