Far-Left Pope Leo XIV Urges Trump NOT to Topple Maduro by Force (VIDEO)
Disappointment: Leo prays by the woke Gospel.
Religion seems to be the last thing on President Trump’s mind.
When American Cardinal Robert Provost was elected Pope Leo XIV, there was a brief moment of hope that the Church might take a stronger stand on the persecution of Christians around the world.
Sadly, that hope has not materialized.
In countries like Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Somalia, Myanmar, Yemen, and Pakistan, Christians face murder, oppression, and displacement. A Pope with real concern for the faithful could make a difference.
Yet Pope Leo XIV appears focused elsewhere—opposing President Donald J. Trump and aligning with a globalist agenda.
He participates in high-profile symbolic acts, spends time with transgender activists, and even from the safety of the Vatican’s walls, critiques Trump’s migration policies. Most recently, the Pope has weighed in on the situation in Venezuela, urging the U.S. President not to remove dictator Nicolas Maduro by force.
According to The Telegraph:
“Pope Leo XIV, the first North American pontiff, suggested it would be better to come to an agreement with Mr. Maduro to step down rather than to topple him with military intervention.
[…] On Tuesday, the Pope told reporters aboard the papal plane returning from a visit to Lebanon that the Vatican embassy in Caracas was trying to calm the situation.
‘On the one hand, it seems there was a telephone conversation between the two presidents. On the other, there’s this danger, this possibility of an activity, an operation including invading the territory of Venezuela. Again, I believe it’s better to look for ways of dialogue, perhaps pressure—including economic pressure—but looking for other ways to change, if that’s what the United States wants to do.’”

While Christians face real threats globally, Pope Leo XIV seems preoccupied with opposing President Trump rather than addressing the urgent crises confronting the faithful.
