In Stunning Development, President Trump Withdraws His Support and Endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene
President Trump announced Friday evening that he is withdrawing his endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
In a statement on Truth Social, he wrote, “I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia.”
President Trump said he has grown frustrated with Greene’s complaints, especially, he noted, at a time when he believes his administration has delivered major accomplishments. He referenced what he described as victories on government funding negotiations, border security, taxes, sports policies, inflation, military rebuilding, and regulatory rollbacks. He also criticized what he called Greene’s constant negativity.
According to President Trump, tensions escalated after he shared a poll with her suggesting she would not perform well in a future Senate or gubernatorial race. He also claimed she has expressed frustration that he no longer takes her calls, saying that with numerous lawmakers, officials, international leaders, and other responsibilities, he cannot “take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”
President Trump added that he is open to supporting a conservative challenger to Greene in her Georgia district, saying he believes many voters there are dissatisfied with her behavior and that the “right person” would have his full backing.

He further criticized Greene for appearing on The View, calling the hosts “Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”
Greene, meanwhile, has criticized President Trump in recent weeks, accusing him of drifting from his “America First” priorities and becoming too focused on foreign issues. Earlier Friday, she also faulted him over the handling of the Epstein file release.
