Charmin’s Giant Forever Roll Promises Month Without Refills
No more constant swapping of TP rolls. (Charmin)
Charmin is once again making headlines with its massive Forever Roll, a 1,700-sheet toilet paper roll so large the company says it could last an entire month—and if unrolled, it would stand nearly as tall as the Washington Monument.
First introduced in 2019 as a limited-edition novelty aimed at millennials, the jumbo-sized roll has now been reintroduced for a broader audience—just in time for the holiday season and, for some, stirring memories of the pandemic-era paper shortages.
The Forever Roll Starter Pack is currently available nationwide, including on Amazon for $33.99 with an on-site coupon. The pack includes two giant rolls and a special stand to hold them—because, yes, they’re that big. Each Forever Roll contains 32 times more sheets than a standard roll.
“Less swapping, more going,” Charmin declares in its new campaign. Company Vice President Jessica Hastings said the idea is simple: “We know changing the roll all the time is a big pain in the butt. That’s why we created the Forever Roll—it works harder so you don’t have to. Plus, it’s quite the conversation starter.”
And for anyone still hunting for quirky holiday gift ideas, Charmin points to a YouGov survey showing that nearly 60% of people would actually welcome toilet paper as a holiday present this year.
