Kamala Harris ROASTED For Suggesting She Was the Most Qualified Presidential Candidate in US History
Kamala Harris made headlines after boasting about her résumé and declaring that she may be the most qualified presidential candidate in U.S. history during an interview with liberal journalist Kara Swisher.
Harris, who launched her political career decades ago while involved with then–San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, touted her background in law and politics as evidence of her supposed unmatched qualifications.
“[The] fact that I was elected District Attorney for two terms as the first woman elected Attorney General of the state of California,” Harris said proudly. “I ran the second-largest Department of Justice in the United States—second only to the U.S. Department of Justice. I was a United States Senator, the second Black woman ever elected to the Senate,” she continued, drawing loud applause from the left-leaning audience.
She went on to add, “I was the first woman Vice President of the United States,” before concluding, “Some people have said I was the most qualified candidate ever to run for president.”
Critics quickly pushed back on her claim, pointing out that American history is filled with presidents and candidates who had far deeper records of service and accomplishment.
Fox News host Dana Perino fired back, citing historical giants:
“Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, served as governor of Virginia, minister to France, secretary of state, and vice president—and we could go on and on,” she said. “George H. W. Bush: congressman, ambassador, envoy to China, CIA director, VP, WWII combat pilot.”
Perino even noted, “And yes, even Joe Biden had more qualifications than she did.”
Kamala Harris says she may have been the “most qualified candidate” to ever run for POTUS. But @DanaPerino can think of a few people who might’ve had better resumes…

Harris’s bold self-promotion comes after Democrats elevated her as their 2024 presidential nominee in what many saw as a quiet internal coup against sitting president Joe Biden.
Now, as she continues her campaign, Harris’s claims of being the “most qualified ever” are earning her more ridicule than respect—especially from those who remember how her political rise began.
