Disgraced British royal Prince Andrew is facing renewed scrutiny after a newly uncovered email allegedly shows he maintained contact with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — months after claiming to have severed all ties.

According to a report from The Sun, the Duke of York allegedly emailed Epstein on February 28, 2011 — just one day after a now-infamous photo surfaced showing Andrew with Ghislaine Maxwell and Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the young woman who accused him of sexual abuse.

In the message, Andrew reportedly sought to reassure Epstein amid the scandal, writing, “I’m just as concerned for you! Don’t worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it.” He allegedly added, “We’ll play some more soon!!!!”

The email, which The Sun says came from Andrew’s official royal account, included the automated signature “HRH The Duke of York KG.” The address attributed to Epstein was previously verified as his.

The message appears to contradict Andrew’s public statements that he ended his friendship with Epstein in December 2010, after the financier’s conviction for sex crimes. Andrew has said he personally flew to New York that month to end the relationship, telling the BBC he did so “face-to-face.”

The photo of Andrew with his arm around a then-17-year-old Giuffre was reportedly taken in March 2001 at Maxwell’s London townhouse and published publicly on February 27, 2011 — the day before the alleged email was sent.

Andrew has long denied all accusations of sexual misconduct and insists he never met Giuffre, even suggesting the photo could have been “doctored.” In 2015, court filings related to Epstein revealed Giuffre’s allegations that she was trafficked to London to have sex with the royal — claims Andrew continues to vehemently deny.

Both Epstein and Giuffre have since died by suicide.
