A Perth woman says she was forced to flee for her life after being pursued by a naked man while hiking alone in the hills.
Elizabeth Straughan reported to police that the man followed her along a bush track in Canning Mills Reserve as she walked her dog, with a shirt tied over his face to conceal his identity.

“The terror just surged through me,” Straughan told 7News. “I thought, what’s going to happen now? I knew I had to outrun him.”
She immediately called triple-0 and ran toward the sound of approaching sirens.
“As the sirens got louder, I looked back and saw the man had disappeared into the bush,” she said.

Police arrived within minutes, but despite the quick response, no arrests have been made and the suspect remains at large.
