Transgender Utah Man Had a Song Called ‘Charlie Kirk Dead at 31’ on SoundCloud Prior to Assassination

A Utah-based individual who identifies as transgender and uses the name Skye Valadez has come under scrutiny after songs posted to SoundCloud appeared to reference the death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk—weeks before he was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

One of the songs, titled “Charlie Kirk Dead at 31”, was uploaded approximately a month before the incident. Another track, “Charlie Kirk’s Death Isn’t Enough for Me”, appeared on a digital album released in April under the music project name God’s Finest Scalpel. The album, reportedly titled Death to American Scum, has since been removed from platforms.

Images of Valadez have been circulated online alongside photos released by the FBI of a person believed to be connected to the shooting, prompting speculation on social media. However, the FBI has not named or confirmed any suspects in the case as of Thursday afternoon.

When media outlet The Gateway Pundit attempted to archive Valadez’s Facebook profile, the account was removed—reportedly either by the platform or Valadez. Attempts to contact Valadez were unsuccessful as associated social media accounts were also taken offline. Valadez has denied any involvement in the shooting and stated the timing of the music releases was a “coincidence.”

Meanwhile, conservative commentator Steven Crowder published what he claims is a leaked Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) document related to the investigation. The document reportedly describes cartridges found at the scene that were etched with symbols and phrases referencing transgender and Antifa ideology, including “Trans Rights Are Human Rights.”

According to the document, Kirk was shot on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem as part of his American Comeback Tour. The shooter reportedly fired a single shot from a rooftop approximately 200 yards away, then fled the area on foot. Law enforcement later recovered an older-model Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel in a nearby wooded area. The FBI is currently conducting forensic analysis on the weapon and ammunition.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox has called the killing a “political assassination.” A scheduled press conference on Thursday was postponed due to what officials described as new developments in the case.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and authorities continue to investigate. The individual mentioned in this report has not been charged with any crime and is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise.

This is a developing story.
