Fired ABC Hack Terry Moran’s Latest TDS Meltdown: Trump “Is the man that we were warned about by the founders”
In June, longtime ABC News correspondent Terry Moran parted ways with the network following a controversial post on X (formerly Twitter) in which he criticized President Donald Trump and former White House adviser Stephen Miller. Although the post was quickly deleted, the incident reportedly played a role in his dismissal.
Since leaving ABC, Moran has been open about his political views and has described his current efforts as a mission to “fight for democracy” during what he calls a “dark time” in American history.
Speaking on the podcast In Good Faith, Moran expressed deep concerns about the state of U.S. democracy and the influence of Donald Trump. He warned that what is unfolding in the United States mirrors the historical decline of other democratic societies.
“What we are seeing is, no doubt, what other countries have seen a lot. What our Founding Fathers predicted would happen,” Moran said. “A great, strong man would arrive—not great in the good sense, but in terms of power.”

Moran went on to call Trump “the most dominant figure of our age around the world,” emphasizing that he believes the former president represents a significant threat to democratic institutions. “He is a world historical figure and he is the man that we were warned about by the founders,” Moran said. “Democracies fall when a man who can captivate the populace wants to exercise the power that’s there in the government, and that is what we’re watching.”
