Police Make Arrest After 911 Call From Richie’s Home

A man was arrested early Friday following a break-in at Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills residence, according to NBC News. The incident began shortly after midnight when police received a 911 call reporting an intruder on the property.

Security footage showed a person entering the home but fleeing after the alarm was triggered. Richie, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, was home at the time. Authorities said no injuries were reported, and nothing was stolen.

Police later arrested 38-year-old Michael John Bond nearby on suspicion of residential burglary.
