Pork Chops Sauerkraut Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • pork chops
  • 3 cups sauerkraut
  • potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent.
  4. In a baking dish, layer the potatoessauerkraut, and sautéed onions. Pour chicken broth over the layers.
  5. Place browned pork chops on top. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and pork is cooked through.
