“Earlier in the night, Jackson Lee took the stage to chants of “Shei-la” led by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.” Sounds a little dopey for a County Judge to be chanting.
“I started this journey around the issue of people — making sure that whatever I said was to make Houston a liveable (sp? not me, her) city, and to make Houston a city that responded to the needs of families and our children,” Jackson Lee said. “I hope that however the outcome is, it will reflect the people bought into a positive agenda that will take this city into the future and that future will be something for everyone.” What a buckle of crap. Take a look at most of her district and it is embarrassing. What has SJL really done for her district? Now she wants to do the same for the City of Houston. If she sees a camera, you can bet that she’ll be front and center. SJL, Green and Ellis are not for Houston. I’m thinking of the run-off election. No cameras will be seen just the rigging.
