Gas prices drop to $1.99 at select stations for one day in major US cities
For one day only, drivers in three major U.S. cities will have the chance to fill up their tanks at a price that feels straight out of another decade.
As part of its Member Month celebration, T-Mobile is offering drivers gas for just $1.99 per gallon at select Shell stations in Los Angeles, Houston, and Chicago, on Tuesday, June 9.
The best part? The deal isn’t limited to T-Mobile customers — anyone can take advantage of the savings while supplies last, the company announced.
As gas prices rise to above $6 per gallon at some locations, the one-day promotion is designed to help drivers save at the pump amid fluctuating fuel costs.
The promotion is first-come, first-served, and is part of T-Mobile’s 10-year anniversary of T-Mobile Tuesdays.
“T-Mobile Tuesdays helped redefine what customers should expect from wireless — real value beyond connectivity,” Allan Samson, Chief Marketing Officer of T-Mobile said in a press release. “From day one, T-Mobile Tuesdays has delivered meaningful savings and relevant benefits that fit naturally into everyday life. And those weekly perks are just one part of a much bigger membership experience that delivers value year-round. From industry-leading travel benefits and streaming services on Us to exclusive savings, experiences and more, we’re always looking for new ways to give our customers more of what they love. Member Month is our biggest celebration of that commitment yet.”
