Florida man accused of mooning, chucking soda at group of teens inside a McDonald’s
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A Florida man went on a wild tirade at a local McDonald’s Saturday night, allegedly throwing his soda at a group of teenagers and then exposing himself — all because he believed they were staring at him.
William Heath, 47, entered the Gainesville restaurant late Saturday and became “visibly agitated” when he noticed a group of teens looking in his direction. According to a police report obtained by WCJB, Heath confronted the teenagers in the dining area and, in the ensuing argument, allegedly tossed his Dr. Pepper at two of them.

After retreating into the parking lot, Heath reportedly flopped into a nearby bush, claiming the teens had shoved him there. He then allegedly dropped his pants, exposing his bare bottom, while spanking himself and touching his left buttock. A witness in a nearby car told police the teenagers did not initiate any physical contact and that Heath shouted obscenities about race and sexuality at them, all while claiming they had assaulted him.
Police say Heath confessed to the incident after being read his Miranda rights, explaining that he felt the teens had “upset and insulted” him.

Heath was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery and two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
Florida has seen its share of unusual food-run incidents lately. Earlier, a homeless man was arrested for allegedly attempting to hold up a Taco Bell with only a “large rock,” and another man reportedly attacked a stranger with a ketchup packet near a gas station, leaving two small stains on the victim’s jacket.
