Grandpa walks around half-naked during toddler’s visits. How can wife convince him to cover up?
DEAR ABBY:
My husband and I are in our 60s. At home, when it’s just the two of us, he likes to wear only his underwear, whether we’re watching TV or eating dinner. I’ve accepted it over the years and never made an issue of it.
When our granddaughter visited at age 1, he wore shorts (at my request) but no shirt. She’s now coming to stay with us again at age 2½. Don’t you think it would be appropriate for him to wear both a shirt and shorts when she visits? I value your opinion.
