WATCH: “F*ck ICE, Shut it Down!” – Leftists Invade Minnesota Target Stores with Demands for CEO Before Cops Kick Them Out (VIDEOS)
Anti ICE Target protest in Richfield, Minnesota
Multiple Target stores across Minnesota, and in several other states, were the site of organized protests calling on Target’s corporate leadership to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from entering stores to make arrests.
At a Target location in Richfield, Minnesota, video showed more than 100 protesters marching through the store while chanting, “The people united will never be defeated.” Some participants carried a banner reading, “National Strike Shut Down Trump & ICE.” Local police were present at the scene as the demonstration unfolded inside the store.
Additional footage from the Richfield protest showed demonstrators chanting slogans critical of ICE while walking through the aisles. Other clips captured protesters singing a protest song set to the tune of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
At a separate protest at a Target in West St. Paul, video showed a police officer speaking with demonstrators. The officer acknowledged the protesters’ concerns but noted that the store had the right to set its own policies. The officer also warned that individuals could face trespassing charges if they refused to leave.
In East Lake, Minneapolis, protesters were filmed after being asked to leave the store. One participant questioned why customers were required to be shopping while, in her view, ICE agents were not held to the same standard when entering stores. She said the purpose of the protest was to highlight what demonstrators see as inconsistent enforcement of store policies.
Similar demonstrations were reported at Target locations in Crystal, Minnesota, St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Seattle, Washington.
According to Bring Me The News, multiple activist groups — including Isaiah, Indivisible Twin Cities, and Unidos MN — organized protests on Jan. 31 at at least 19 Target stores across Minnesota. Organizers said they were calling on Target, which is headquartered in Minneapolis, to oppose what they described as ICE and border patrol activity in the state.
The Richfield location was a particular focus of the protest after two Target employees who are U.S. citizens were detained by ICE agents earlier in the month. Organizers said the demonstration sought “justice” for those individuals and others affected by what they referred to as “Operation Metro Surge.”

Pathetic display of weakness.
