Photos released Thursday show a crane removing the Hampton Inn sign from a hotel in Lakeville, Minnesota, following allegations that the property refused to accommodate U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and other immigration officers.

The Lakeville hotel, previously branded as a Hilton property, was removed from Hilton’s system Tuesday morning after a video circulated online appearing to show staff continuing to deny lodging to federal immigration officers. This came despite Hilton stating earlier that the hotel had apologized and reaffirming that “properties are open to everyone, and we do not tolerate any form of discrimination.”

Images from the scene showed the Hampton Inn sign being lifted from its supports by a crane positioned in the hotel’s parking lot.

Hilton did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital on Thursday. It remains unclear who is currently operating the hotel. A phone number previously associated with the property appeared to be disconnected.

Earlier this week, the General Services Administration (GSA) announced that it was removing the Hampton Inn Lakeville from its list of approved lodging locations for federal employees.

Emails released Monday by the Department of Homeland Security and ICE stated that the hotel was “not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property.” GSA Administrator Edward C. Forst said the hotel was found to be in violation of government lodging program requirements after canceling rooms reserved for ICE agents.

“The property has been removed from the programs and booking tools effective immediately,” Forst said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “GSA unequivocally supports our federal law enforcement partners.”

The GSA oversees federal property and services and manages the FedRooms program, which connects federal employees with approved lodging. Hilton previously noted that the Lakeville Hampton Inn was independently owned and operated, and said hotel officials had taken steps to address the issue and contact affected guests.

However, a video posted Tuesday on X by freelance journalist Nick Sortor appeared to show a hotel employee continuing to deny accommodations to federal agents, contradicting Hilton’s earlier statement.

In response, Hilton said the video raised serious concerns. “They are not meeting our standards and values,” the company said, adding that it was taking immediate action to remove the hotel from its systems. “Hilton is — and has always been — a welcoming place for all.”
