A father was severely beaten in a violent incident at Disneyland after confronting a family allegedly trying to cut the line for the Indiana Jones ride, his relatives say.
The man, who has not been publicly identified, was attacked while waiting with his teenage daughter on Tuesday at the Anaheim park, according to family members.
The assault, described in a Reddit thread by the victim’s relatives, left him with multiple stitches and extensive bruising. The altercation reportedly began just before 1 p.m. when the alleged assailant became angry after being accused of attempting to skip the line.
Witnesses said the attacker, wearing light-green sweatpants, struck the father for about a minute while he was on the ground. “It was incredibly traumatizing, and the man who attacked him ran off,” one witness wrote.

Disney staff temporarily closed the ride and cleaned blood from the floor in several areas, the witness added. The victim’s daughter was heard yelling, “Stop hitting my dad,” during the attack.
The victim’s daughter later shared a photo on Reddit of her and her father at the park, smiling despite a large bandage on his head. “Hey guys, just letting you know this is me and my dad! He got stitches and is perfectly okay,” she wrote.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the attacker has been apprehended.
The incident comes shortly after another Indiana Jones-related mishap occurred at Walt Disney World in Florida, where a staff member was injured by a prop boulder during the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show. Footage posted online showed the crew member knocked to the floor while attempting to stop the rogue prop.
