Police Bodycam Footage Shows Officer Threatening to Arrest Cinnabon Employee Who Was Harassed and ‘Threatened’ by Somalis (VIDEO)

As previously reported, Wisconsin Cinnabon employee Crystal Wilsey was terminated from her job after a video of a heated confrontation between her and customers went viral on social media.

According to accounts circulating online, the altercation began when a Somali couple allegedly harassed and threatened Wilsey. At some point during the exchange, the customers began recording her. In the video, a man can be heard accusing Wilsey of “sexualizing” her body. Wilsey then asks if she is being recorded, to which the woman responds that she is.

The clip cuts to Wilsey making offensive remarks, including profanity and a racial slur directed at the customers. The couple is also heard shouting insults and profanity at Wilsey. The man calls her derogatory names, while the woman tells her that she is “ruining” her life.

Following the video’s circulation, Cinnabon confirmed that Wilsey was fired. In response, supporters launched a GiveSendGo fundraiser on her behalf, which has raised more than $157,000.

TMZ later obtained police body camera footage from Ashwaubenon Public Safety showing an officer responding to the incident. In the footage, the officer questions Wilsey about the verbal dispute and warns her that she could be arrested for disorderly conduct.

As the officer approached, he said, “Bet you know why I’m here.” Wilsey expressed surprise that police were called, stating that she was the one who had been harassed.

“They came here and harassed me. I have PTSD. They knew exactly that I was ill. This is not the first time,” Wilsey told the officer.

The incident continues to draw public attention and debate online, with differing accounts about how the confrontation began and how it was handled by both the employer and authorities.
