Texas DPS Goes on High-Speed Chase with Smuggler Carrying Ten Illegal Aliens, Crashes into Commercial Vehicle (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump has fulfilled his promise to the American people by securing the southern border after returning to office in January.
While illegal border crossings have dropped to historically low levels, the impact of four years of open-border policies under Joe Biden continues to strain communities across the country. Law enforcement agencies such as the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) remain on the front lines, routinely pursuing and arresting illegal aliens. DPS works closely with federal partners, including U.S. Border Patrol, to enhance public safety and uphold the law.
Earlier this month, Texas DPS troopers pursued a human smuggler transporting 10 illegal aliens in Webb County near Laredo. The driver, identified as Jorge Alonso Diaz Jr., attempted to flee during a high-speed chase before crashing his Lincoln Navigator into a commercial vehicle.

Diaz was arrested and charged with human smuggling with the likelihood of serious bodily injury, as well as evading arrest with a vehicle. Troopers transferred the 10 illegal aliens found in the vehicle, including one child, to U.S. Border Patrol custody.
High-speed pursuits involving human smugglers have become a familiar occurrence for Texas DPS, given the ongoing presence of illegal immigration throughout Texas and other border states. Earlier this month, The Gateway Pundit reported on another DPS chase involving a smuggler transporting illegal aliens who were locked inside a van.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution places responsibility on the federal government to protect states from invasion. It states:
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”
Under President Trump’s leadership, enforcement of the law has been restored and border security has once again become a national priority.
