GOING VIRAL: Crowd Goes Wild After President Trump Performs Coin Toss at Army-Navy Game (VIDEO)
President Trump attended the 126th Army-Navy college football game at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, where he performed the ceremonial coin toss and helped kick off the game.
“This is the 126th playing of America’s game,” the referee announced to cheers from the crowd.
“The coin we will be tossing today features the Army-Navy logo as heads and the Battle Monument as tails. Army, what is your call?” the referee asked.
“Tails,” came the response.
“Mr. President, would you do the honors?” the referee asked as he handed the coin to Trump.
After the toss, the referee declared, “It is tails! Army, you’ve won the toss!” The crowd erupted in excitement as the Army opted to play defense first.
Ahead of the game, President Trump did not reveal which team he is supporting. “Getting ready to land at Fort McHenry for my short drive to the Army-Navy Game,” he said.
When asked about his allegiance, Trump replied, “Everyone is asking who I’m supporting, Army or Navy? My answer is: you must be joking if you think I’m going to give you that answer!”
