President Trump’s playful talk of a potential third term — complete with “Trump 2028” hats — may have quieted down for now, but his knack for stirring up the Left has found new life overseas.
During a ceremony in Seoul on Wednesday, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung presented President Trump with an ornate gold crown and proclaimed the beginning of a new “golden age” in U.S.–South Korea relations.

Trump, who famously appreciates gold décor — much of which now adorns the Oval Office — also received the Grand Order of Mugungwha, South Korea’s highest civilian honor. The medal, suspended from a gold chain, symbolizes exceptional contributions to the nation and its international ties.
“It’s as beautiful as it can possibly be… I’d like to wear it right now,” Trump said with a smile, thanking President Lee for the honor. Lee noted that the award recognized Trump’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, including his groundbreaking diplomacy with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
If there’s another “No Kings” protest march in Washington, some supporters joked, Trump might consider greeting them from a White House window — crown and all.
