Wild video shows airport worker lose control of fuel hose, spewing highly flammable liquid all over
Video posted to social media captured a ground worker appearing to lose their grip on the refuelling hose, causing fuel to uncontrollably spray out of the nozzle as it viciously snaked underneath the aircraft.
Wild footage shows a Texas airport worker losing control of a refueling hose, sending highly flammable jet fuel spraying across the tarmac at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, authorities and video evidence confirm.
The incident occurred Saturday as the worker was refueling an American Eagle aircraft at Terminal E, American Airlines said in a statement to The Post. Social media video shows the hose whipping uncontrollably under the plane, releasing fuel in a dangerous spray.

The worker appeared to step away as large pools of jet fuel began to accumulate. Fortunately, the airport’s spill containment system captured the substance, and crews cleaned the area, a spokesperson for Dallas-Fort Worth Airport told The Post.
The total amount of fuel spilled has not been disclosed. American Airlines added, “We are looking into the incident with DFW Airport and the airport’s fueling contractor, Menzies, and worked together on the cleanup per procedure.”
