A New York City firefighter from Brooklyn has been suspended after being arrested in Long Island earlier this month on serious drug charges, The Post has learned.
Nassau County Police say detectives took 29-year-old Bomani Drayton into custody on October 2 in West Hempstead, where he was allegedly found with several narcotics believed to include cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, Adderall, and Alprazolam. Authorities allege Drayton intended to sell the drugs.

Drayton, who lives on Delmar Loop, faces multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Court records show his next appearance is scheduled for October 14.
According to an FDNY source, Drayton has been suspended pending the outcome of the case. He joined the department in 2023 and was assigned to Engine 234 in Brooklyn.
An attorney listed for Drayton did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
