DEVELOPING: Massive Explosion at Military Explosives Facility in Tennessee – Multiple People Dead, Others Missing
HICKMAN, Tenn. — A massive explosion tore through a military facility in Hickman County early Friday morning, leaving at least 12 people unaccounted for.
The blast occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems, a plant that develops, manufactures, and stores explosives for military, aerospace, and commercial demolition purposes. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, according to the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office.

CBS affiliate WTVF-TV in Nashville reported that several people were missing following the explosion. Footage from the site showed debris scattered across the facility and damaged vehicles in the parking lot.
