Aging Hippies in Portland Perform CRINGE-TASTIC Musical Protest
Boomer libs in Portland put on an embarrassing show – Screencap of Twitter/X video.
One striking feature of protests during President Trump’s second term is the noticeable shift in demographics — many of the demonstrators appear to be older, long-time activists from decades past.
In Portland, a group of baby boomer liberals recently gathered to perform a rendition of the classic Woody Guthrie song “This Land Is Your Land.” The nostalgic performance evoked the protest culture of the 1960s, as the aging crowd sang in unison, waving signs and banners reminiscent of an earlier era of activism.
The scene underscored how the spirit of that generation continues to resurface, even as the issues — and the America they’re protesting in — have changed dramatically over the years.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so demented and sad.
This land belongs to all of us. It’s not a war zone—it’s home. Trump can’t take that from us. pic.twitter.com/8VmyKfMqRF
